1. Who is responsible

2. Visiting this website

Our website is hosted by Vercel. When you open it, Vercel records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for and your browser, so the site can be delivered and kept secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). These logs are kept only for a short time.

The site runs no analytics and shows no ads. It sets at most one cookie, to remember the language you picked. Fonts are served from our own server.

3. Joining the beta

When you join, we store your email address, the language you were viewing the site in and the date you signed up. We use them for one thing: inviting you to test Ongee. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

Your signup is stored in our database at Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany.

When your wave opens, we add your email to Apple TestFlight (iPhone) or to the tester list on Google Play (Android). Apple or Google then sends you the invite, under their own privacy terms.

We may also write to you from hello@ongee.app about your invite.

We keep your email until the beta ends, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hello@ongee.app.

4. Who processes data for us

Vercel Inc. (website hosting, EU and USA) and Supabase, Inc. (database, Frankfurt, Germany) process data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Where data is processed in the USA, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, take it with you, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to hello@ongee.app.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. The one responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, lda.bayern.de.

6. Age

The beta is open to people aged 16 and over.
